Background

GKC is a full-service surveying and engineering firm with a particularly brisk business in FEMA elevation surveys. GKC needed an application to manage every aspect of their services, including customers and jobs, document preparation, and basic billing and accounts receivable features. Although the company had a FoxPro database that provided some of the necessary functionality, staffers complained that the software was tedious to use and prone to mysterious data corruption.

The Solution

The 30/90 Group developed a custom Windows desktop application that fulfilled all of GKC's requirements. This application features:

A simple interface that makes it easy to navigate between related data
An Outlook-like customer management pane
Tools for creating jobs and tracking them through completion
Screens for entering survey data and printing government-mandated survey documents
Integrated billing and accounts receivable functionality.

The 30/90 Group provides ongoing support and enhancements to the application.
